On September 1st, at the LBHS Varsity football home game against Arlington the LBHS cheerleaders will be holding a “Blue Out” game to honor the memory of Jeff Rickenbacher,  bring awareness to Ocular Melanoma and raise money for The Rickenbacher family.  The Rickenbacher family is part of the LB community and Jeff and Laura’s children Lexi, Zach, and Tyler have all been students at LB and have been active in LB sports, Tyler being a senior football player this year.

Jeff was diagnosed with Metastatic Uveal Melanoma in 2021. Because this is such a rare cancer with no known cure, Jeff went to a specialist at MDAnderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.  He participated in clinical trials, but things continued to progress. On June 18th we lost an amazing husband, father and friend.

A portion of the proceeds from this spirit gear sale will be donated to the Rickenbacher family.

How preorder works:
We open the store, collect orders for a time, close the store, order blank garments and print exactly to order, so we don't hold any stock of preorder items. All items are final sale, since due to the nature of preorder stores we are unable to offer exchanges or accept returns.
